Blarney.com are delighted to align ourselves
with such a great cause to raise funds for Gerard Byrne who was recently
paralysed from the waist down. As a result, we are contributing 5% of
online sales (excluding clothing related items) to the Padraig Harrington Charitable Foundation.
At present, in his first round of the 2012 Masters, Padraig
has enjoyed success matching World No1. golfer Rory McIlroy’s opening 71
proving that he is capable of great results throughout this tournament. “It
looks like I turned a little bit of a corner with the putting and I’ve been
playing very nicely besides that.” The three time Major winner Harrington
maintained he is calm and confident ahead of the second round.
We are all behind Padraig and the great work he does as a professional golfer
both on and off the course. He added: “I’m very relaxed. My whole game, I know it’s good, and
at the end of the day I’ll just let it happen, play away and see what the
result is.”
