Blarney Woollen Mills have embraced a branding opportunity with Padraig Harrington to raise funds for the Padraig Harrington Charitable Foundation. Padraig Harrington is currently taking part in the 2012 Masters, in Augusta, Georgia. We are proud to sponsor Padraig with the Blarney.com logo being displayed on his tournament t-shirts.

Blarney.com are delighted to align ourselves with such a great cause to raise funds for Gerard Byrne who was recently paralysed from the waist down. As a result, we are contributing 5% of online sales (excluding clothing related items) to the Padraig Harrington Charitable Foundation.

At present, in his first round of the 2012 Masters, Padraig has enjoyed success matching World No1. golfer Rory McIlroy’s opening 71 proving that he is capable of great results throughout this tournament. “It looks like I turned a little bit of a corner with the putting and I’ve been playing very nicely besides that.” The three time Major winner Harrington maintained he is calm and confident ahead of the second round.

We are all behind Padraig and the great work he does as a professional golfer both on and off the course. He added: “I’m very relaxed. My whole game, I know it’s good, and at the end of the day I’ll just let it happen, play away and see what the result is.”

Blarney.com have seized the unique three week branding opportunity offered by Padraig Harrington to raise funds through the PadraigHarrington Charitable Foundation for Gerard Byrne who was recently paralysed from the waist down in a car accident.

Padraig, a three-time Major winner, had the innovative idea of offering branding space on his clothing for three forthcoming US events -  the Shell Houston Open, The Masters and the RBC Heritage, to companies willing to donate money to Gerard’s plight. With the full support of his current sponsors in aid of this worthy cause, Blarney.com, along with two other companies, will take a position on his clothing for these three high profile weeks on the golf calendar.

Blarney.com have also agreed to contribute 5% of net website sales (excluding clothing related items) to the Foundation during this three week period.
